Welcome Back to a New School Year!

Dear Students, Parents, Community Members and Staff,

I hope this message finds you well and rejuvenated after a restful summer break. As we stand on the threshold of a new school year, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for the incredible journey that lies ahead.

This year promises to be one of growth, discovery, and achievement. Our new superintendent, Chad Holloway, has already made a positive impact with an inspired vision of what the Rainier School District can and will be, and there is an energy and enthusiasm unlike any other I’ve seen in more than 20 years in education. Our dedicated maintenance staff have been working diligently over the summer to get the campus ready for the return of staff, students, and the community and the district leadership team have been working hard in preparation for the return of the reason we do this job; the students. Considering their age, our facilities are looking great and I am excited to continue the work that has been started in creating an even more dynamic learning environment.

To our returning students, welcome back! I am eager to hear about your summer adventures and to support you as you continue your educational journey. For our new students and families, I extend a warm welcome. We are thrilled to have you join our school community and look forward to getting to know you.
